New laws and amendments to in-force laws enacted under the decree published in the federal official gazette on lujy 18th ti implement the National Anti-Corruption System

On July 18, 2016 it was published in the Federal Official Gazette the Decree by
which the General Law of the National Anticorruption System (Ley General del Sistema
Nacional Anticorrupción), the General Law on Administrative Responsibilities (Ley
General de Responsabilidades Administrativas) and the Organic Law of the Federal
Court of Administrative Justice (Ley Orgánica del Tribunal Federal de Jusitica
Administrativa) were enacted. In addition to the above, amendments to several
provisions of the Federal Criminal Code (Código Penal Federal), the Organic Law of the
Federal Public Administration on Federal Government Internal Control (Ley Orgánica
de la Administración Pública Federal en Materia de Control Interno del Ejecutivo
Federal), Law on Surveillance and Accountability to the Federation (Ley de
Fiscalización y Rendición de Cuentas a la Federación), the Fiscal Coordination Law (Ley
de Coordinación Fiscal), the General Law on Government Accounting (Ley General de
Contabilidad Gubernamental) and the Organic Law of the Attorney General Office of
the Republic (Ley Orgánica de la Procuraduría General de la República) were enacted
also, being anti-corruption the subject matter of such new laws and amendments to
existing ones. The new laws and amendments referred to above are known as the
“National Anti-Corruption System” arising from the amendments to the Constitution of
the United Mexican States published in the Federal Official Gazette on May 27, 2015.
